Dr. Amy Catalano

 

Dr. Catalano was born and raised in the Boston area where she got her undergraduate degree at Wheaton College and her Doctorate at The New England College of Optometry.

 

Upon graduating, Dr. Catalano worked for a few private practices and a group that provided laser vision correction. In 2006 she decided to open her own practice and has been enjoying private practice ever since.

 

Dr. Catalano belongs to the American Optometric Association as well as the Massachusetts Society for Optometrists. She also is an InfantSEE provider.

 

Dr. Catalano completed Board Certification by the American Board of Optometry in 2013 and is now a Diplomate of the ABO. She also completed the Massachusetts Glaucoma course in 2021.

 

Dr. Catalano also has a certification in functional medicine and is very interested in the role that nutrition plays in the health of the eyes as well as the body.

She still lives outside of Boston with her husband, two girls and dog.
