Dr. Amy Catalano
Dr. Catalano was born and raised in the Boston area where she got her under graduate degree at Wheaton College and her Doctorate and The New England College of Optometry.
Upon graduating, Dr. Catalano worked for a few private practices and a group that provided laser vision correction. In 2006 she decided to open her own practice and has been enjoying private practice ever since.
Dr. Catalano belongs to the American Optometric Association as well as the Massachusetts Society for Optometrists. She also is and InfantSEE provider - which means that she provides free eye screenings for children under a year old.
Dr. Catalano completed Board Certification by the American Board of Optometry in 2013 and is now a Diplomat of the ABO.
Dr. Catalano has done a certification in functional medicine and is very interested in the role that nutrition plays in the health of the eyes as well as the body.
She still lives outside of Boston with her husband, two girls and dog.
Dr. Lynn Brandes
Dr. Lynn Brandes has been practicing optometry for over 25 years, and has served as the Vice-president of the Alumni Association at The New England College of Optometry.
Dr Brandes is a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry, and a Diplomate of the American Board of Optometry.
Dr. Brandes served on the Optometric Historical Society Advisory Committee from 2016-2018.
